Wellness Jungle processes your personal data because you use our services and/or because you provide this information to us yourself. We may process the following personal data:

  • Gender

  • Date of birth

  • Address details

  • Telephone number

  • Email address

  • Bank account number

Special and/or sensitive personal data we process

Our website and/or services are not intended to collect data from visitors under the age of 16, unless they have permission from a parent or legal guardian. However, we cannot verify whether a visitor is over the age of 16. We therefore encourage parents to monitor their children’s online activities to help prevent personal data from being collected without parental consent.

If you believe that we have collected personal data relating to a minor without such consent, please contact us at info@wellnessjungle.nl. We will then delete this information.

Why and on what legal basis we process personal data

Wellness Jungle processes your personal data for the following purposes:

  • Processing your payment

  • Contacting you by telephone or email where necessary to provide our services

  • Informing you about changes to our services and products

How long we retain personal data

Wellness Jungle does not retain your personal data for longer than strictly necessary to fulfil the purposes for which it was collected. We retain this data for a maximum of one year, unless you expressly consent to it being used for a longer period.

Sharing personal data with third parties

Wellness Jungle only shares personal data with third parties where this is necessary to perform our agreement with you or to comply with a legal obligation.

Cookies and similar technologies

Wellness Jungle does not use cookies or similar technologies.

Accessing, correcting or deleting your personal data

You have the right to access, correct or delete your personal data. You also have the right to withdraw any consent you have given for data processing, object to Wellness Jungle processing your personal data and request data portability.

Data portability means that you may ask us to provide the personal data we hold about you in a computer file and send it to you or to another organisation specified by you.

You can submit a request to access, correct, delete or transfer your personal data, withdraw your consent, or object to the processing of your personal data by emailing info@wellnessjungle.nl.

To verify that you submitted the request, we ask you to include a copy of your identity document. To protect your privacy, please obscure your photograph, MRZ (machine-readable zone—the line of numbers at the bottom of your passport), passport number and Dutch citizen service number (BSN) in this copy. We will respond to your request as soon as possible and no later than within four weeks.

How we protect personal data

Wellness Jungle takes the protection of your personal data seriously and implements appropriate measures to prevent misuse, loss, unauthorised access, unwanted disclosure and unauthorised alteration.
